Early August in the midwest almost always feels soft and luscious. This piece reminds of the sweet scent of grass after rain and the sound of rustling trees. It takes me to early August.
This original is acrylic on a 12”x12”x1.5” 100% cotton canvas. I have sealed the piece with a protective varnish that will keep the color bright and the paint protected for years and years.
